Road Construction Updates
On Monday, Jan. 16, Aurora Water will begin the replacement of 1,454 feet of water line on the south side of East Alameda Drive/the Aurora Municipal Center (AMC) loop. Phased construction will begin at the South Chambers Road entrance and progress west into the intersection of East Alameda Parkway. The project will take about six weeks to complete.
Volunteers Needed for Annual Point-in-Time Homeless Count in Aurora
The city of Aurora’s Housing and Community Services Department is seeking volunteers for the 2023 Point-in-Time (PIT) count, an annual count of sheltered and unsheltered people experiencing homelessness in the city on a given day. The count is part of national efforts to identify the extent of homelessness in the country.
